How To Upgrade To iOS 8 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

The new, more productive iOS 8 has been announced in Apple big event but official release of iOS 8 not yet available for general public until September 17th. To get the update now, connect iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to iTunes via USB, hold down the option key (OS X) or the shift key (Windows) and click the Restore button. Browse to the .ipsw file, select it, and then wait for the update.

Note: If there’s a DMG file, open up the disk image (.dmg) and find the iPhone Software Update file (.ipsw) downloaded. Drag it to the desktop or folder.
